Visual Arts

Debbi offers a spectrum of creative services, including lifestyle portrait sessions, professional headshot portraits, milestone portrait sessions, and portfolio building for aspiring models and talent.

Commissions for pet paintings are available upon inquiry, and her artwork is featured on various products through her online shops. As the owner and founder of Pink Labels World of Dance, Debbi utilized her creative capacity crafting original art and photographic artistic designs for dance t-shirts that found their way to dancers, dance teachers, and enthusiasts around the world. Charmye & Co continues this mission as a rebrand of Pink Labels World of Dance.

Performing Career

Debbi began her performing career at age 17, appearing as a Radio City Rockette in New York City under the direction of Russell Markert. She continued her stage career in Montreal, Canada, performing with the Rudas Dancers at Le Caf’ Conc’, Le Chateau Champlain, and in Las Vegas in Donn Arden’s “Hallelujah Hollywood”, MGM Grand Hotel. She is a member in good standing with the Rockette Alumni Association.

Modeling Career

Debbi began modeling as a teenager in her home town working with local photographers. She worked as a freelance model alongside her performing career and her expertise in the field led her to become an instructor at the Cappa Chell Agency in Washington D.C.

In 1997 she established Quest Worldwide Productions producing online events over the course of 12 years which provided an opportunity for talent of all ages to be showcased and connect with industry professionals.

Studio & Teaching Career

Upon retiring from the stage Debbi returned to Virginia and the family dance studio where she got her early training, becoming head choreographer and instructor, working alongside her mother, Elizabeth Ash Evans, (1924 – 2015), leading the studio to countless awards and accolades over its 60+ years of success.

Her credits also include choreography for major bowl games, television commercials, live theater, and other similar events, as well as serving as a judge for leading dance and talent competitions throughout the United States.

Ms. Davidson closed the studios during the pandemic of 2020.

Giving Back

Having run a non-profit dance company, Tidewater Dance Theater Inc., alongside her studio, Ms Davidson understands the importance of supporting the local, national and international community and giving back. She continues to support causes close to her heart, including, in particular, animal rescues and Wounded Warriors.

The company is named after her Grandmother, Charmye Ash (1902 – 1983), founder, Ash Academy, Jacksonville, Florida.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing poetry. Most often by her side and living her best life is Glitter, her Chinese Crested Powderpuff dog.
